....but that's about as far as I'd go. It looks great, but the flaws in the gameplay really bring the level of quality down. Also, include some sound controls, such as "Sound On/Off" buttons - the background music, whilst original and relevant, gets very annoying very quickly, which, being a Zelda fan myself, I find hard to understand.
A solid attempt, though.
A few things...
It was ok, but when the game starts, you lose a couple of lives straight away because the paddle doesn't move fast enough. Make the ball go upwards at the start. Even better would be to slow it down a bit - sometimes, the ball moves on an angle away from you so quickly that you can't get to it.
But I liked the sound effects. They might have been accompanied by some music, though....
Very nice, but...
...could have used some music. Other than that, a nice alternative to standard golf gaming.
If you're going to write a tutorial, then try NOT to use voice. Even more so, don't combine voice with music. It makes it even less enjoyable. Text works perfectly fine if you get the size right. And yeah, demos are always good for tutorials.
Also, there's a way to stop the voice. Click the button, then when the voice kicks in, press the same button again. Enjoy peace and quiet....
Sheer gaming goodness!
What a game! Simple concept, easy to pick up and play, yet hard to master. These are the concepts of a good game, and this one more than meats those requirements. Simple colours and a nice soundtrack really add to it, too.
Keep it up!
A simple, yet highly addictive concept. Excellent work here, my friend! Keep it up!
An amazing piece of work here, tubely. Superb graphics, simple controls and developed around such a simple concept. My only "complaint" is that there is no ambient background music of some sort.
Other than that, beautiful game. Keep it up!
can't believe this is your first game you ever made. Keep up the good work!
